Scott is the owner and founder of The Patterson Cozzo Law Firm. His firm specializes in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, real estate and advising small businesses in the areas of licensing, intellectual property and business formations. Through his experience in the courts and as a lawyer with over 20 years of experience, he has cultivated numerous relationships with business and political consultants and advisors, including state representatives and, most importantly, the former Chief of Staff to Sonny Perdue, the current Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture.
Prior to opening his firm, Scott worked as in-house counsel for an international technology company and began his legal career at King & Spalding, one of the largest law firms in the country. At King & Spalding, Scott worked on various contractual, licensing and litigation matters gaining a solid foundation in both transactional work and litigation. Additionally, Scott is a Georgia licensed real estate agent.
Scott graduated Cum Laude from The Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1999 and graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1993 with a double major in Government and Sociology.
Scott grew up in Virginia working throughout middle and high school on agricultural, horse and cattle farms.
