An under-the-radar collab with Crockett, Symbiotic manages to get Lemon Skunk, Tangie, and Purple Punch all into one powerhouse of a strain.

Tangerines, grapes, and lemons will all be present

A solid hybrid, but leaning towards Sativa effects and benefits.

Mimosa has average-sized flower sites, but makes up for its deceiving appearance when you smell the harvest. The taste and smell is strongly reminiscent of a Sour Tangie, with grape tones. Near the end of the life cycle, the plant comes into its yellow and green fade.

Jason Sirotin:
Hello, and welcome to the Greenstone Podcast. I'm Jason Sirotin joined by Gary Walker. Gary, how are ya?

Gary Walker:
Doing very well, thank you.

Jason Sirotin:
And our good friend, Mr. Genetics. How are you, Mr. Genetics?

Mr. Genetics:
I'm good, thanks for having me.

Jason Sirotin:
Cool, man. So today, we're talking about some new stuff that we're growing over at Greenstone, and I'm excited about this one. It's called Mimosa. Mr. Genetics, can you take us through what Mimosa is as a strain?

Mr. Genetics:
So Mimosa had been hot for a while now, and it hasn't cooled down at all. Everyone loves Mimosa, and it's got multiple awards from the flower to the concentrate and everything in between. So the cool thing about Mimosa is that it's actually a collaboration between Symbiotic Genetics and their Purple Punch with Crockett and their Clementine. So the Clementine is a Lemon Skunk crossed with their Tangie, of course, and then that's further crossed with the Purple Punch, so you get lemon, you get grape, and you get tangerines all in one.

Jason Sirotin:
Oh, that sounds delicious. What is the plant structure like?

Mr. Genetics:
So the plant structure is going to be ... The families are going to represent more of a sativa look with long, thin leaves, which are actually going to have more of a classic OG structure with bud nodes. It's going to be a medium to high yield, nothing too special, but it really shines when the terpene profiles come through.

Jason Sirotin:
What's the smell and the taste?

Mr. Genetics:
So it's just going to be a fresh fruit basket. You're going to get those nice grape gas tones from the Purple Punch and you're going to have that lemon tangerine mix from the Clementine, all together.

Jason Sirotin:
Man, I am so excited to try this, Gary, have you had the Mimosa yet?

Gary Walker:
I haven't yet, but Mr. Genetics's description is amazing.

Jason Sirotin:
I know. My mouth's watering.

Gary Walker:
I'm familiar with the plant and the plant structure, but I haven't had the chance to try it.

Jason Sirotin:
Well, I'm excited to try it. And folks, we're thinking about once we've harvested all the new genetics, doing a big live stream of us testing all these in a row and talking about them, which will be super fun. So when the pandemic is over, [crosstalk 00:02:16] I'm heading to Denver and we are going to have some fun tasting all this stuff.

Jason Sirotin: So Mr. Genetics, Gary, thank you for your time today. Once again, that's Mimosa. If you're interested in getting the Greenstone Mimosa, just ask your dispensary, "Do you have Greenstone's Mimosa?" And thank you for joining us today, and we will see you next time.
