Jason:
Hello, and welcome to the Greenstone Podcast. I'm Jason Sirotin. And today I am joined by Gary Walker, and our good friend, Mr. Genetics. And we're going to talk about some new stuff that we just pulled from harvest that we want to talk about. And I want to start with the blueberry. Mr. Genetics, tell me about our blueberry.
Mr. Genetics:
Well, and so the blueberry yogurt was deemed a female sound a few years ago in a commercial grow in Denver. And some people really started liking it for it's smell. It has a really sour, yogurty smell with blueberry in there. It's a decent yielder. It looks pretty good. Pretty good frost level, and I think it's a nice genotype.
Jason:
Is it an indica or a sativa?
Mr. Genetics:
This is definitely going to be a sativa hybrid.
Jason:
Gotcha. Gotcha. So euphoric and given you energy. Stuff you'd want to do during the day.
Mr. Genetics:
Yeah, definitely. Kind of help motivate you with the nice fruity blueberry taste.
Jason:
Love it. So that's the blueberry yogurt, which you can request at your local dispensary in Colorado. Mr. Genetics and Gary. Oh, well we might as well say hi to Gary. Hi, Gary.
Gary:
How you doing, man?
Jason:
I'm good. Anything new going on? You like these blueberries? This blueberry yogurt?
Gary:
Yes. We do. It's one of those things where the blueberry yogurt that we're now growing, it's looking really frosty. So we're excited about that. We've already touched on this on another episode, but the blueberry muffin that's going to be following that here shortly is going to knock blueberry yogurt out of the park. So this is like a precursor to what Greenstone is going to do with these new genetics that are coming online. But the blueberry yogurt is still a nice smoke. It's very popular in the Denver area. It does hit you with that blueberry smell, that aroma, quickly. So people really enjoy that. That is available now. And so we are happy to offer that, and we're even more happy and more excited to offer blueberry muffin that's going in the first phase here shortly.
Jason:
Yeah. I think one of the things we want to push is that we took over a grow. We're working out the old genetics, and ours are starting to come to fruition. So this blueberry yogurt will be the last time that you'll be able to get the blueberry yogurt from Greenstone. That's for sure. Guys, thank you so much for your time today. If you're interested in getting some blueberry yogurt, reach out to your local dispensary and ask for Greenstone's blueberry yogurt. We'll see you next time.
